The first version was made with a bass boost switch on the overdrive side. The second version, this one, was made with a bass boost switch for the overdrive and a tone control switch for the compressor side.”
“The Tubescreamer overdrive is just amazing on this pedal. It can get all kinds of classic tones, and can drive an amp to that sweet spot. The compressor is very useful. It can be dialed in to be subtle, or real squishy for a cool effect. Overdrive channel uses the JRC4558 op-amp which was in the TS-808 (Tube Screamer). This is a older version of the pedal. I believe from the early 90s.”
