Weeper (Model 1802) V1

Effect Information

“The DeArmond Weeper Model 1802 was part of the 1800/1900 series of pedals from DeArmond in the 70s. Hand built in Toledo, OH, the Weeper is one of the smoothest sounding Wahs ever produced. You almost never want to turn it off it sounds so good. If you were to describe the tone, it nails that smooth Santana tone beautifully! I have a Mutron-200 Wah and it sounds really close to those without the huge price.”

“This is a unique sounding wah and it tends to accelerate fast on the treble side. It works well with low octave devices in front of it, almost like an extreme EQ syth kind of noise.”
