“This unit sounds as good as any other vintage MXR Phaser. It has a
regeneration knob that is basically a depth control, making it more
flexible than the Phase 90. Very simple operation with speed and regeneration controls. Lush rotating speaker simulation, and at
certain settings you get that “underwater” sound. All in all a great pedal, as
you would expect from MXR.”
Many believe this version of the MXR (Stereo) Phaser sounds as good as any previous version and is more flexible with the inclusion of a regeneration knob.
