the classic Dan Armstrong “Orange Squeezer” circuit from well known
pedal makers Baja Tech. This unit provides a thick full range sound that
is actually closer to a clean boost than a compressor. It works great as a
simple and powerful sound for pumping up solos or adding crunch to tube
amps. I had this on my main pedal board for some time, and used it for
both country style chicken pickin’ and with lap steel. There is no
9V adapter so it runs on battery only.”
