Big Muff Sustainer

Effect Information

“Made in Japan — from 1973. The Big Muff Sustainer was one of the earliest Japanese Big Muff clones [Was it?]. It was sold under several names and brands throughout the 70s, the first being the Electro Sound Super Fuzz Sustainer. The circuit was copied from a specific 1972-73 era V1 Triangle Big Muff Pi with PNP transistors. The only difference was the high pass capacitor in the tone section. Normally 004uF, this cap was 330 pF in the Elk Sustainer, which increased the treble on extreme bass tone settings [Did it?].”
