“This cool vintage Japanese tube guitar amp is the Acetone Base-3 and sports a large 12” speaker (Marsland Hawk 12), with the
amp itself measuring 22” tall by 17.5” wide by 8.5” front to back. These
early Acetone amps were actually built by Roland, and while this
particular amp was, I’m guessing, designed to be both a bass amp and
guitar amp (from the swicth that moves from “Lead” to “Base”) it’s
really more likely to work well as a guitar amp. The tube contingent looks to
consist of two Japanese 50H-B26s and a pair of 12AX7s from what I can
see.”
