"When fed
into an amp's 'clean' channel, the pedal adds a transparent, neutral
sustain. Plug it into the 'lead/dist' channel and this pedal really
shows its class, producing sustain together with amazing lead harmonics. This sound can be incredibly difficult to achieve without the expense
of a 'boutique' valve amp. This, of course, is achieved here by analog
circuitry with none of the thin and unconvincing sound of 'amp
modelling'. Luscious, warm, involving and just begging to be played."
